Our Story

The chance to be in the right place at the right time…
Where – Palace of the Parliament
When – an evening in 2016
We were invited to attend the Viennese Ball, Adi as a professional dancer, and me as an amateur with a passion for dance. We found ourselves in a fairytale, in a castle, surrounded by beautiful, elegant, well-mannered people dressed in gowns and tuxedos, radiating the dream of happiness across time and space. Enchanted by the music and the rhythm of the dance, I suddenly felt a spark coming from two beautiful brown eyes, a spark directed at mine. A gaze that made silence speak volumes. Determined to focus more on the dance, I tried to avoid those emotional eyes.
Midnight marked the end of the ball and the beginning of my birthday. Equipped with sweets, I nervously and shyly walked by the dancers, serving them, when I once again felt those burning eyes. The owner of them, relaxed on a chair, took a chocolate and, with an expert smile, asked me how old I was turning. When I replied “16,” his chair collapsed, and he found himself on the floor. The first boy to fall at my feet!!! Even if by accident!!! On my birthday!!! Was it a sign? I was moved by both the fall and that fixed gaze, promising something to come. And it did… I couldn’t forget either his eyes or his look. We love with our hearts, but we fall in love with our eyes, eyes with their unwritten stories.
People who haven’t finished their story will meet one day, somewhere…
And because Cupid loves to play with our emotions, two years later, he arranged a “chance” meeting at a party. That emotional reunion made us realize we were ready to start something new together, without knowing exactly what lay ahead. But time was not on our side – we only had two months left before we would go to study in different countries. We went to great lengths and defied all odds just to be together. We tried not to miss anything happening around us or within ourselves. We didn’t know where the road that had opened before us would lead, but holding hands, we felt good and safe. The time had come for us to go our separate ways, me to England, him to Sweden…
Life separates people only to make them realize how important they are to each other.
Loneliness proved painful, and the agonizing longing strengthened our resolve not to let dust settle over our dreams. Thus, my first visit to Sweden was an explosion of emotions, and embracing each other, we almost simultaneously whispered our first “I love you,” said so sincerely and quickly, as though time was chasing us. We looked at each other, reflecting in each other’s eyes, feeling the magic of our reunion.
Maybe to the world, you’re just one person, but to a certain person, you are the entire world.
Since only traveling could keep us together, we became avid tourists. We explored countries and places full of history, visited art galleries, and walked in the footsteps of great loves, where Paris and Helen, Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde lived their stories. Our view of the world changed, for we understood that it is not beauty that makes us love, but love that helps us see beauty. Wandering the world, we built our future, enriching the past with memories and emotions, turning the obstacles we encountered into steps leading toward the temple of our love.
The true journey is not about destinations, but about what we build together along the way.
Our steps brought us in front of the Taj Mahal, the monument of sacred love, where we professed our love and I received the engagement ring as a symbol of a new beginning together. And since a love story has no ending,
TO BE CONTINUED…
We are taking a creative pause, focused on preparing the next chapter – “The Wedding” – the preface to family life, in which we won’t be the only ones present, but those who wish to join us in celebrating the merging of our stories.
